By submitting artwork or other content through the Website or as part of participation in Alpine Art Studio classes, you grant Alpine Art Studio a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, display, and publish such artwork and Submitted Content for educational and non-commercial purposes related to Alpine Art Studio. These purposes include, but are not limited to:

  • Displaying student artwork in the Alpine Art Studio online gallery;

  • Presenting artwork in virtual or in-person student art shows or exhibitions;

  • Displaying artwork within student portfolios or class galleries on the Website;

  • Using artwork for classroom instruction, critique, and educational demonstrations; and

  • Archiving student work as part of Alpine Art Studio's educational records.

When displaying student artwork publicly online, Alpine Art Studio will not identify minor students by their full names. Artwork may be displayed using a first name only, first name and last initial, initials, a screen name, or without identifying information, at Alpine Art Studio's discretion. Adult students may likewise be identified by a limited form of their name unless they expressly authorize otherwise.

Alpine Art Studio will not sell student artwork or use student artwork for commercial advertising, merchandising, or other commercial purposes without obtaining any additional permissions required by law.

You represent that any content you submit:

  • Is your own work or that you have permission to submit it;

  • Does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party;

  • Does not contain unlawful, offensive, or harmful material; and

  • May lawfully be displayed by Alpine Art Studio as described in these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The Website and its contents—including text, graphics, logos, artwork, software, lesson materials, videos, photographs, and design—are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, no portion of the Website may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or modified without prior written permission.
