Enrollment Agreement

Welcome to Alpine Art Studio! We are committed to providing a safe, encouraging, and inspiring environment where students of all ages can grow as artists. By enrolling in classes, workshops, camps, or other programs offered by Alpine Art Studio, students and, where applicable, parents or legal guardians agree to the following policies.

1. Enrollment

Enrollment is confirmed once:

  • Registration has been completed;

  • Required forms have been submitted; and

  • Applicable tuition or fees have been paid or payment arrangements have been approved.

Enrollment is subject to class availability and instructor approval where applicable.

2. Tuition and Payments

Tuition is due according to the payment schedule established during registration.

Alpine Art Studio reserves the right to suspend participation or access to online materials for accounts with overdue balances.

Returned checks or declined electronic payments may be subject to applicable fees.

3. Cancellations and Withdrawals

Students may withdraw from a class by notifying Alpine Art Studio.

Unless otherwise stated for a particular class, workshop, or event:

  • Registration fees are non-refundable.

  • Tuition already earned for completed classes is non-refundable.

  • Refunds or credits for future classes may be granted at Alpine Art Studio's discretion.

  • Special events, camps, workshops, and guest instructor classes may have separate cancellation policies.

4. Missed Classes

Students are responsible for attending scheduled classes.

Missed classes generally cannot be refunded.

When practical and at the instructor's discretion, Alpine Art Studio may offer:

  • Make-up classes;

  • Alternative assignments;

  • Recorded lessons;

  • Online materials; or

  • Other accommodations.

Availability of make-up opportunities is not guaranteed.

5. Studio Closures

Classes may occasionally be cancelled due to:

  • Severe weather;

  • Instructor illness;

  • Building emergencies;

  • Public safety concerns; or

  • Other unforeseen circumstances.

When possible, Alpine Art Studio will provide advance notice.

Cancelled classes may be rescheduled, credited, or otherwise accommodated at the studio's discretion.

6. Student Conduct

Students are expected to contribute to a respectful learning environment.

Students agree to:

  • Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with courtesy.

  • Respect studio equipment and supplies.

  • Follow instructor directions.

  • Use materials safely.

  • Refrain from disruptive, abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior.

Alpine Art Studio reserves the right to remove a student from a class or program whose behavior significantly disrupts the learning environment or creates a safety concern.

7. Parent and Guardian Responsibilities

Parents and guardians are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate emergency contact information;

  • Promptly updating changes to contact information;

  • Picking up minor students on time when applicable;

  • Informing the studio of relevant medical concerns, allergies, or accommodations.

Unless specifically stated, Alpine Art Studio does not provide child care before or after scheduled class times.

8. Health and Safety

Students who are ill with contagious conditions should not attend class until they are no longer contagious.

Students agree to follow all reasonable studio safety instructions regarding tools, materials, equipment, and facility use.

Parents are encouraged to inform the studio of allergies or medical conditions that may affect participation.

9. Personal Property

Students are responsible for their own personal belongings.

Alpine Art Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property brought to the studio.

10. Artwork Ownership and Storage

Students retain ownership of the artwork they create.

Artwork left at the studio may be stored for a reasonable period following completion of a class.

Artwork not claimed within a reasonable time may be recycled, donated, discarded, or otherwise disposed of at Alpine Art Studio's discretion.

11. Student Artwork Display

One of the goals of Alpine Art Studio is to celebrate student achievement by displaying artwork.

Students grant Alpine Art Studio permission to display artwork created during participation in studio classes for educational and non-commercial purposes, including:

  • The Alpine Art Studio online gallery;

  • Student exhibitions;

  • Studio displays;

  • Virtual art shows;

  • Classroom examples; and

  • Educational presentations.

Students retain ownership of their artwork.

When artwork is displayed publicly online, Alpine Art Studio will not identify minor students by their full names. Artwork may be displayed using a first name only, first name and last initial, initials, a screen name, or no identifying information. Adult students may likewise be identified using a limited form of their name unless they authorize otherwise.

Student artwork will not be sold or used for commercial advertising or merchandising without any additional permissions required by law.

12. Photography and Video

From time to time, Alpine Art Studio may photograph or record classes, exhibitions, or studio activities.

Images or video may include students and artwork.

These photographs or recordings may be used for:

  • Educational purposes;

  • The studio website;

  • The online student gallery;

  • Social media;

  • Newsletters;

  • Studio publications; and

  • Other promotional materials relating to Alpine Art Studio.

Parents or adult students who prefer not to have recognizable photographs or video of themselves or their child used for promotional purposes may notify Alpine Art Studio in writing. We will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests; however, we cannot guarantee exclusion from incidental group photographs or public event coverage.

13. Online Portal

Students are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

Online assignments, videos, downloads, and educational materials are provided solely for enrolled students.

Sharing account access or distributing instructional materials without permission is prohibited.

14. Intellectual Property

Lesson plans, instructional videos, assignments, downloadable resources, logos, graphics, website content, and teaching materials are the intellectual property of Alpine Art Studio or their respective owners.

These materials may not be copied, redistributed, or used commercially without written permission.

15. Assumption of Risk and Release

Participation in visual art activities may involve the use of paints, inks, adhesives, clay, cutting tools, ceramics equipment, and other art materials.

Participants understand that minor injuries or accidents may occur despite reasonable supervision.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with participation in studio activities.

Nothing in this Agreement releases Alpine Art Studio from liability where such a release is prohibited by applicable law.

16. Emergency Medical Care

If emergency medical treatment is reasonably necessary and a parent or emergency contact cannot be reached promptly, Alpine Art Studio may seek appropriate emergency medical assistance for the student.

Parents or adult students remain financially responsible for any resulting medical expenses.

17. Changes to Policies

Alpine Art Studio may update these policies from time to time.

Current policies will be posted on the studio website.

Continued participation following publication of updated policies constitutes acceptance of those changes.

By enrolling in classes or programs offered by Alpine Art Studio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Studio Policies & Enrollment Agreement, as well as the Website Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
